POINSETTIA SALE If you would like to dedicate a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one, or would simply like to help make the sanctuary festive, fill out an order form and turn in with your check. Cost is $8 for one plant or $15 for two. Orders due Nov 30.

ADULT BIBLE COMMUNITY each Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall from 9:30-10:15. We are continuing our new study: Resolving Everyday Conflict.

VITAMIN DRIVE: GPC’s vitamin drive ends this week. Please make sure your donation of hard, chewable, children’s vitamins are dropped off at the church by Wednesday. Please speak with Darlene Clagett if you have questions.

HIGH SCHOOL D-GROUP meets TONIGHT at the Edwards’ from 6-8pm. Bring your Bible!

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT PRACTICE will be held during Children’s Church this week.

SYNERGY CHRISTMAS PARTIES: Preschool and Elementary will have separate parties at the same time: Friday, December 2 from 5–7pm. Bring $2 and stocking stuffers; we’ll have a Yule Log for supper.

A DRESS REHEARSAL FOR THE CHRISTMAS PAGEANT is scheduled for noon on December 4. Bring a sack lunch.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT! Wednesday, December 7 at 6:30pm. Reception will follow.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMMUNITIES resume this week from 6 to 7:30 pm. Join us for Women’s Bible Study and Prayer, MS Youth, Primary age activities, and Pre-K Groups. Nursery is provided.

LADIES CHRISTMAS PARTY is Saturday, December 3rd from 6:30-8 pm at the home of Kristi Maier.

CANS AND CAROLS will be held December 4th at Redeemer Presbyterian Canned goods are the price of admission and will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.

GHPS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is Thursday, December 8, at 6:30 pm. Reception to follow.

FAMILY PROMISE HOSTING: Mark your calendars; we are hosting the following weeks of the first half of 2012: Feb 5-12, Apr 8-15, and June 10-17.

FAMILY PROMISE ANGEL TREE: On the bulletin board by the children’s wing, there are opportunities to further give to the families that have recently been part of the family promise program. Please take the opportunity to select an angel from the tree, purchase the gift that is on the angel, and return the wrapped present (gift receipts are

a plus!) with the angel taped to the outside of the present to the church office no later than Friday, December 16. Please make sure that you sign that you took an angel in the corresponding space (each angel has a number on them) so we know who has angels. Questions, see Carla in the church office.

A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER is needed for the 1st/2nd Sunday school class. If you are interested, please contact Carla.

2011 FINANCIAL NOTES: Tax-deductible contributions to the church for 2011 must be received in the office or postmarked by December 31, 2011. Receipts for any reimbursable expenditures for 2011 should be turned in to the office by Monday, December 20, 2011.
