Ministry Opportunities
- Friday Morning Bible Study (9:15 to 11:15 AM)
- The study runs from September to a date to be announced in the spring. We meet in the fellowship hall for a time of refreshments and fellowship and the study begins at 9:30. Childcare is provided. This year's study is by Beth Moore entitled "The Beloved Disciple" and is being taught by Melanie Patton and Kim Baum.
- Community Outreach Project - Show The Love
- We want to extend Christ's love into the community. This year our team will be supporting Next Step Ministries. This ministry strives to help battered women and their children get what they need to begin a new life without violence. We will love these women and children by donating personal toiletry items. We have also partnered with Grace House Preschool to donate any leftover clothing from the spring/fall consignment sale to Next Step Ministries' thrift store.

- Salad Supper
- In the spring we look forward to a salad potluck dinner that includes a time to fellowship and to hear from women in our body sharing their testimony as to how God has been at work in their lives. It is always an inspirational and hope filled time of getting to know one another better and bringing glory to God as we see his mighty deeds in the lives of our sisters in Christ.
- Fun Night
- You never know what to expect at our annual summertime event that allows you to de-stress, laugh and have the most fun you’ve had since you were a teenager. Watch for details in the bulletin.
- Summertime Supper Club
- Don't let the lack of routine in the summer interfere with getting together with all our sisters in Christ. We need each other for encouragement and support. These nights together at a local restaurant will help you set aside time to do just that. Come for as many of these nights out together as you can. More details to come in our bulletin.
- Fall Kick Off Brunch
- In the fall we look forward to a potluck brunch to kick off our women’s ministry year. Come hear about our plans for this year’s Friday morning Bible Study and our fall retreat. We will also preview other upcoming events. Enjoy the food, fellowship and fun!
- Fall Women's Retreat
- Our annual retreat will be held the first weekend in October at Laurel Ridge near the town of North Wilkesboro. All women college age and above are encouraged to attend this time of rest, relaxing, fun and strengthening relationships with one another and with Christ. Watch our church bulletin for retreat updates and details about sign ups, the speaker etc.
- Guess Who Is Coming To Dinner
- The first Friday night of December we have our annual Christmas event. You can choose to be either a hostess for a dinner or a guest. A hostess provides the main dish, and she will call her assigned guests to tell them what to bring for dinner, but she won’t tell who the other guests attending are. After dinner we will all meet back at church to enjoy desserts and a gift exchange (Secret Santa style). Just bring a wrapped Christmas gift but don't put your name on it. The price limit is $5.

When meals are needed during times of crisis or an event such as childbirth or surgery please contact Pastor Tim Brieaddy who will give the request to ACE:Adult Community & Education.
